Wu Xing Qi Gong, also known as Five Element or Five Phases Qi Gong has an exercise for each of the Zang or Yin energetic organs. They are practiced to maintain and improve your health.
The exercises are done in a generating or promoting cycle. This means that each energy promotes the next element or phase.
The exercise is done in a standing posture either shoulder width or in the deeper 'horse stance.'
You should do them each day at about the same time of day. Do between 12 to 20 repetitions of a posture before moving to the next one.
