This forum will discuss, promote and post local area mom or dad meet up and support groups. We would also like to include any home school programs or meet ups for the kids to enjoy some socialization and kid time.

Feel free to post time, location, contact information as well as any important information required to attend.

The Lansing Mt. Hope Mom's Group

We are a community of moms and expectant moms that strives to provide lasting friendships for both moms and children as well as support, advice and of course fun! We provide a weekly mom's meetup with free childcare that allows moms to relax, let off some steam and just be themselves! We also offer various other activities including playdate, a walking group, couple's night out and other special events! We hope you will join us!

We are sponsored by Mt. Hope United Methodist Church (on the corner of Mt Hope and Cedar Streets in Lansing, not the one with the flags) but you do not have to be a member or attender of that or any other church to attend our group. We are not a religious group necessarily, just sponsored by one.

We hope that you will join us along this wonderful, amazing and sometimes trying journey we call motherhood and let us help each other along the way!

Delta PaLS Cooperative

As parents of preschoolers, we want to give our children the tools to better prepare them for the classroom. We also want them to learn social skills and how to interact and make friends with others. Most of all, our wish is for them to smile and have fun. That is why we built this group - Delta PaLS (Play and Learn Social) Cooperative.

We (Tina, Karesa and Teresa) are commited to providing opportunities for the children in our group to learn through play. Learning letters, numbers, colors and shapes, as well as helping to develop and strengthen fine and gross motor skills are all areas we want to explore. We also hope to facilitate the learning of problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution skills.

We welcome children two and older who have not yet started kindergarten, and their parent or caregiver to join. Our minimum age requirement will continue to change as our own children grow older; however, current member's children will be grandfathered in.

It is not necessary for you to live in Delta Township but because we are based in Delta Township, many of our activities will be held in this area. We are a super fun group of welcoming families.  Our children are the best!  We work hard to provide a variety of activities for our memebers including themed playdates with several learning stations, playdates at local fun spots, field trips to fun and interesting places, family outings, Daddy get togethers, Mommy meetups - both daytime and nightime, in-home playdates, guest speakers and lots of other fun "stuff."

Please take a few moments to read our "About Us" page for more information including our Mission Statement, Policies and Requirements for Membership. We (Tina, Karesa, and Teresa) would like to thank you for your interest and hope to be able to meet you and your little one soon! :-D

The Working Mom's and Tot's Playgroup

Welcome, Parents!
This group is really about the want to see your child socialize, make friends, and be active while also allowing a chance for adults to socialize with other parents. Sometimes, as a working mother, I feel I miss out on watching my child interact with other children since it is mostly always at daycare. While this playgroup isn't meant to be exclusively for working moms (or dads), I would like to have the meetups scheduled for when a working parent could attend. If you apply to be a member of our group please check your spam folder for emails from us about your potential membership, we have not been able to get a hold of potential members in the past from this issue.
