Even though Michigan is experiencing one of the fastest economic turn arounds in the nation, the unemployment rate is still at 9.6%. With unemployment numbers that high you might be surprised to hear that there are actually around 80,000 unfilled positions in the State of Michigan. Governor Rick Snyder has just outlined the steps he and his administration will be taking to help these employers find the talent they are looking for, and lower the state's unemployment rate. There are many steps to this plan.
