watch The Eagle
Hi, THis is my new review about new film "The Eagle".
IX Spanish Legion - one of the legions of Rome's oldest, established during the reign of Caesar in the I century BC for the war in Gaul, was again the subject of attention of filmmakers. The disappearance of the Legion, received kognomen Triumphalis («Triumphant") for his countless achievements, still excites the minds of many scientists, the fruits of all new and new versions of the mysterious death of famous warriors. The most romantic option is interpreted as follows: legion perished in battle with the Picts (ancient settlers of Scotland), resulting in an Adrianov shaft in order to prevent the raids of nomads and forever forget about the loss of the famous, many thousands of troops. This interpretation is developed in his novel «The eagle» British novelist Rosemary Sutcliff, thus prompting the authors of the film to create his historic action.

Two men are traveling in the Highlands of Scotland, they must survive the cold, hunger, rain and cold. They do not have for one another no sympathy and are not willing to mutual understanding, but they are forced to wander through endless valleys together. Sometimes they want to die, but they are driven by a great goal. They pray to different gods, and the world around them, is incredibly tough. They have, however, have much in common: both he and the other - an orphan, storing cherished memory of lost fathers. Each of them is ready to die, but did not suggest that other is ready to save it. With the history of relations Eski and Marcus movie shows the full extent of the empire of force and attempts to answer the question: Is it possible subordination of the whole nation and every individual, whether it is possible to change the culture of the enslaved countries?
Both the actor famous for roles in movies about dancing - "Step Up" and "Billy Elliot". Both possess the grace and ability to learn from the choreographer, that combines these two kinds of art: the art of warfare and the art of dance. In this picture, they would not only be in excellent physical shape, learning how to work with a sword, spear and riding a horse, but also embody on the screen are two very different images. Channing has a Nordic hero character. At the beginning of the film we see a confident, desperate warrior, but in the final of his confidence takes a slightly different form due to the fact that during his journey, our hero grew up and became more mature. Tatum is very clever and with a sense able to pass it. Jamie Bell has managed to skillfully and convincingly get into the skin Briton with his zeal for freedom, a sense of pride, honor and self-esteem.
Thanks to the laborious work of the crew, collects information on various specialized artifacts and archives, as well as the subtle vision of the Oscar-winning Anthony Dod Mantle of the operator, effectively transferred the yellow-brown landscape of Scotland, director of the film, Kevin MacDonald created a believable atmosphere of the early first millennium AD. "Eagle of the Ninth Legion '- film about the journey into the unknown, in which the heroes they go to find themselves.
