"I'm number four," based on the eponymous teenage fiction novel, written by James Frey and Joby Hughes. Studio Dreamworks "bought the rights to the novel before its official publication. And given that the paper "I'm number four has at least six volumes, we are likely to continue to wait.

The main hero of tape (and book) is a teenage alien (Alex Pettifer), which fell to Earth after his home planet of evil Magodoriant captured. The care of the guard, Henry (Timothy Olyphant), because the guy's parents were killed. The young man had to hide from enemies, constantly moving and changing names.

This time he hit the guard in the town of Paradise, in Ohio, and gets the name John Smith. However, youth is not one - somewhere in the world are hiding nine rescued children. Three had already died at the hands of Magodoriantsiv. John has become the fourth.

And although John - an alien, he tends to go to school, meet with my girlfriend, have a number of loyal friends, that is to live as an ordinary teenager. In Paradise, John meets his first love, and finds a friend, a UFO freak. The guy wants to stay in Ohio forever. Of course, after the defeat of their enemies.

"I'm number four" - it is a typical teen movie, in which school, friends and parents seamlessly coexist with supermenskimi abilities and predatory monsters lay in wait around the corner. Tape does not reveal anything new in this subject - our hero is sporty and strong, his lovely girlfriend "atypical" blonde, and best friend - albeit a "freak" and physically weak, but brave and loyal.

On the dark side of power in favor former suitor the girl, of course, a football player and a tough guy at school, and a group of skinheads, tattooed guys with sharp teeth, which for some reason no one is not surprised by their appearance, nor the long leather coats.

Dee. DJ Caruso directed the film entirely in the spirit of its producer - the screen flickers from the typical "beevskogo" kaleidoscope of fire, explosions, mind-blowing stunts and spectacular action scenes. We must pay tribute and a wonderful operator Guillermo Navarro (Oscar for "Pan's Labyrinth"), through which the film received a very spectacular and beautiful.

However, the most "I'm number four" still recalls another hit - girlish vampire saga Twilight. However, this did not prevent the film "I'm number four." What unpretentious thing, the harder it is to spoil.
